Our Products
Our Products are completely handmade in a small workshop in San Mateo Atenco.
Based on our manufacturing system we embrace the vision of a detail-oriented product. This means high quality footwear as well as a great customization opportunity for our dear customers.
While our On Demand boots have some degree of customization, our Made to Order boots allow the customer to create a unique pair. If you are interested in making an order you can reach us.
Leather
The leather used in our boots is a 6-ounce full grain leather for the upper, our all-around colors are Brown, Black, and Chocolate, these colors were chosen due to their popularity and versatility, but as we have stated, we are not limited to these leather colors or finishes.
If you are interested in more colors or leather finishes such as roughout, suede or even nubuck, please check out our Made to Order program, there you can create your own piece of footwear with us.
The classic lining in our products is a 5 ounce suede leather at the vamp area, at the shaft area there is a contour of 4-5 ounces of full grain leather, but the shaft is mostly unlined.
Construction
Cordobes Boots are made in a stitchdown construction with a 10-ounce leather insole, a 12-ounce leather midsole, our EcoRubber sole, a leather stacked heel, and an EcoRubber heel top.
We decided to make our boots with a stitchdown construction because we believe the stitchdown to be one of the most skill-demanding types of construction while making a boot, as well as a hefty, durable and flexible type of construction. It also provides water resistance and due to our leather insole, they will become very comfortable in the long run.
We offer other types of construction as well, like blake stitch, blake rapid, or even handwelt in our Made to Order program, you can create your own piece with us.
